IBM Security Verify

Community-contributed integration

This integration is community-maintained and is not part of Ory Polis's officially supported SSO providers. You configure it through the generic SAML SP or generic OIDC walkthrough. Reference: ory/integrates/enterprise-sso/ibm-security-verify.

IBM Security Verify is IBM's cloud-delivered IAM platform. Ory Polis consumes its OIDC and SAML 2.0 endpoints through the generic provider paths.

Set up​

  1. In IBM Security Verify, go to Admin → Applications → Add application and pick Custom SAML 2.0 or Custom OIDC.
  2. Configure the application with the Polis SP details.
  3. Map the outbound attributes (email, names, groups).
  4. In Ory Network, configure the SSO connection through the generic SAML or OIDC walkthrough.

Both Verify Cloud (SaaS) and Verify Access (on-prem) use the same federation flows, and risk-based access policies stay on the IBM side.
