Spencer Kimball

Spencer Kimball is the CEO and Co-Founder of Cockroach Labs, the creator of CockroachDB. A tech pioneer, he co-created GIMP while at UC Berkeley and later spent a decade at Google helping build Colossus. With a background at Square and Viewfinder, Spencer now leads the charge in developing resilient, globally scalable distributed SQL databases.
